Asus on Tuesday launched the Asus ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro smartphones in India. Both gaming smartphones are equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 SoC, these smartphones can get up to 18GB of RAM.
Asus ROG Phone 6 Launch with 6000 mAh Battery
Asus ROG Phone 6 and Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro feature a 6.78-inch FullHD+ Samsung AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and ROG’s exclusive tuning technology. Both the smartphones have a 6000 mAh battery and a 50-megapixel triple rear camera.
Asus ROG Phone 6 Price
The Asus ROG Phone 6 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 71,999, while the Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro 18GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is priced at Rs 89,999. However, the company will announce sales and availability later through the social media platform. The Asus ROG Phone 6 was released in Phantom Black and Storm White, and the Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro in Storm White.

Asus ROG Phone 6 and Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 SoC paired with Adreno 730 GPU. The Asus ROG Phone 6 comes with 12-18 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Asus has added a Game Cool 6 cooling system to both smartphones. According to the company, this is the biggest cooling update since the introduction of the ROG Phone series. Asus claims this improves performance by up to 10 degrees Celsius.

ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro have a 50-megapixel triple rear camera. Its primary sensor is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766. There is also a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, this smartphone has a 12-megapixel front-facing camera.

Asus ROG Phone 6 and Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro have a 6000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support (30W charger in the box). For connectivity, Asus ROG Phone 6 and Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro have 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and two USB Type-C ports. On-board sensors include GNSS GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Beidou, QZSS, NaviC, accelerometer, e-compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, in-display fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, and ultrasonic sensor for Air Trigger 6 and grip press. These smartphones have two 5-magnet 12×16 superlinear speakers tuned by Dirac. Both phones are IPX4 rated. The weight of the smartphone is 239 grams.
